About Yin
Yin Yoga is a beautiful, meditative practice that focuses on stillness, patience, and deep connection with your body and breath. Unlike more dynamic styles of yoga, Yin invites you to hold poses for longer durations, gently stretching and nourishing the connective tissues, ligaments and joints.
What to Expect
Guided stillness: Lisa will gently guide you into each pose, encouraging you to soften and surrender. Each pose is held for 3 to 5 minutes, using props to provide full support, allowing your body to relax into stillness for the duration.
Personalised support: Whether you're a beginner or experienced, Lisa ensures every student feels comfortable and confident, by offering alternative pose options where needed.
Find Balance
This class offers a chance to slow down, and create space for relaxation and self-discovery. It’s not just about mobility and flexibility but cultivating inner balance and calm, making it a perfect antidote to today’s busy, fast-paced life. There is no right or wrong way to do Yin. To quote one of my wonderful teachers Bernie Clark: “If you’re feeling it, you’re doing it!”
